...MORE SNOW COMING TO THE NORTHERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS...
Snow will increase this afternoon, and continue into Thursday. Some
of the snow is likely to spill across the plains late Wednesday
night or Thursday, but mostly light accumulations are expected in
lower elevations.
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS
MORNING TO 11 AM MST THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 11
inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range,
and the Indian Peaks, Rocky Mountain National Park and the
Medicine Bow Range and Rabbit Ears Pass.
* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 11 AM MST Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
